"I have been practicing Pilates for three years, and teaching for two. I came to Pilates initially as a way to treat my weak joints and overly flexible muscles with strategic strengthening, hoping to deepen my yoga practice. Gradually I became aware that Pilates gave me more control and grace in everything I did - even walking felt different, lighter. That it also gave me access to the flat belly I spent my teen years doing crunches every night to achieve - well, that was merely a bonus. I currently train with Riki and Dara at mind the body."
