Alan Vu is a licensed naturopathic doctor and a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. After a Bachelor of Science (honours) at U of T and four years at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), Alan was accepted into and graduated from an additional 2 year CCNM Clinical Residency Program. He is currently part-time academic and clinical faculty at CCNM.

Alan believes strongly in empowering patients through health education.  He believes that with a focus on nutrition, exercise, and stress reduction one can move towards optimal health in a sustainable manner with long-term benefits.  He enjoys using acupuncture, physical medicines and botanical medicines in his practice and has seen great benefit with these therapies.

Alan believes in helping patients receive good medicine, whether that be standard conventional medicine, naturopathic medicine, or a combination of both.  He believes in educating patients about their options and helping them make decisions that are most appropriate for the individual.  Alan advocates collaborating with any other regulated medical practitioners whenever possible to ensure the most comprehensive and effective care.  Alan enjoys working with patients to acheive their health goals by integrating healthy practices into daily life.
