BWT was founded to meet a need for high quality basketball programs in the city of Toronto. Its founder sought the need to improve basketball programs by taking a more authentic basketball approach to the development and management of the programs. BWT was started back in January 2005 by Michael Reio. He sought a need to develop high quality basketball programs in the Toronto area. With an educational background in Kinesiology from McMaster University, sports industry experience working for the Toronto Raptors & Nike Canada, Michael decided to create more value in the basketball market. He has done this by developing professionally organized and managed programs that enhance the level of play in basketball in Toronto.
