Welcome to Bedouin Beats,  Edmonton’s most comprehensive full service dance studio  and unique retail store.

We typically offer at least 30 classes every 10 week session in: 

• Middle Eastern styles like classic Raqs Sharki (bellydance), folkloric

• Specialty Yoga classes including Prenatal and Mom and Baby as well as Hatha Yoga

• Drop-in and regular session classes

• Contemporary  American Tribal Style, Improvisational Tribal Syle, Tribal Fusion

• Beginner Flamenco and choreography classes with Judith Garcia, recent winner of the 2008, World Dance Championship in California (we’re not surprized at all)

• Specialty fitness classes such as cardio shimmy, Tai Chi, Total Body Workout with Ballet 

We have classes for women of all ages and all stages.

Our instructors have been handpicked because of their excellence and their passion . They have all trained intensively and know how to translate dance for beginners and advanced dancers alike. We know that at 50 you likely don’t move in the same way you did at 20. We will give you a solid dance foundation for all bodies, some great music to move to and helpful ideas for costuming and adorning yourself (if you feel inclined and we think you will).

Our dance recitals will give you the opportunity to show your new skills and sparkly costume to adoring family and friends. Remember that YOU decide whether performing is what you want to do. All performing is optional.

Our YOGA instructors are among the best.  We are very happy to have their experience and passion work for our Moms and Moms-to-be, as well as assisting our regular YOGA classes.
