Vitamin Y
Make the transition from sleep to serenity with an infusion of Vitamin Y. We begin our day with a brief relaxation, energizing breathing exercises, sun salutations, asanas to wake up each area of your body and a guided daily intention relaxation. Suitable for all levels. Please call 24 hours ahead and let us know you're coming so we can make sure we're up!
Slow Yo (Restorative Yoga)
Take a breath and slow it on down. There’s no rush. This is the time to step off the weekly treadmill and drop into a slower, more grounded pace. We begin with breathing and relaxation, move into slow and comfortable sun salutations to release the tightness that builds up during the week. Suitable for all levels.
Basics
New to Yoga? Join us any time to learn the basic postures, breathing techniques, and sun salutations. Achieve a greater awareness of the purpose and benefits of yoga.
Level 1 and 1/2
Move with the breath to build strength, stamina, and mindfulness. Level 1 is appropriate for all students. Some previous Yoga experience is recommended for Level 2, modifications for all levels are offered.
Power Yoga
A vigorous class based on the Astanga Primary Series. Recommended for those with previous yoga experience; modifications are provided for all levels.
Pilates (Pre-registered)
New to Pilates? Tried some videos, and found them complicated or painful to do? This is the class for you - a gentle but effective introduction to the basic movements which combine to make up even the most advanced Pilates exercises. You will learn to think about your breath in a new way! We will also explore how the movements learned in class relate to movements in everyday life and leisure activities. Small class size means everyone gets some individual attention! This program is 10 weeks pre-registered. You are welcome to try a class at a drop in rate of $16.00 before deciding to register for the full series.
Nia (Pre-registered)
Nia blends elements of Martial Arts, Dance Arts and Healing Arts (e.g., yoga) into a single workout. It was created in 1983 and has spread to over 28 countries and is enjoyed by thousands around the world. Nia stands for Neuro Integrative Action and has been carefully designed to embrace and create wholeness. You are welcome to try a class at a drop in rate of $15.00 before deciding to register for the full series.
