Melanie obtained her Athletic Therapy Certificate at York University after completing an honours degree in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario. Melanie is a certified member of the Canadian Athletic Therapy Association. Melanie currently works as the Head Athletic Therapist for the York University Football Program as well as for the Markham Raiders OVFL. Melanie has completed a number of continuing education courses including Muscle Energy (TSpine, CSpine) and Soft Tissue Release. Melanie has participated in onsite coverage for Skate Canada as well as for various other organized sporting events. She treats a variety of athletes ranging in different fields of specialty, with a focus on exercise therapy and functional return to play.
