Mike Stone, Kinesiologist

My name is Mike Stone. I have an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario. As a kinesiology student I minored in Sports Medicine and Athletic Therapy and was a student trainer with the varsity Basketball and Wrestling teams there. I have a Massage Therapy Certification from Mount Royal College and have been practicing for 13 years.

Over the course of my career as a Kinesiologist/Massage Therapist I have had the pleasure of working with such groups as the Jamaican Bobsled Team, Luge Canada, The Calgary Stampeders, The BC Lions, The Alberta Ballet and Bobsled Canada. I have also had the opportunity to design several health and wellness programs for Corporate Calgary and have spent some quality time with some quality people.

My personal interests include outdoor boot camps, playing guitar and singing, spending quality time with my wife and kids and helping to educate individuals on how to lead a healthier and happier lifestyle with minimal effort. I am very excited to join the Provital team and build a personal and professional relationship with each and every patient and staff member. I will construct an exciting kinesiology program in which people can learn the importance of health and all that it encompasses without having to compromise time with family and friends.
