Miki Burton, Registered Massage Therapist

Miki Burton is born and raised here in Calgary Alberta. She attended Foothills College of Massage Therapy 1000 hour diploma programming finishing in 2005. During this time Miki decided to further her education and skills in massage therapy and went back for her 2200 hour diploma graduating in 2006, there she concentrated on pre and peri-natal massage. Her 2200 hour education has given her an in depth understanding of the Human Anatomy and Pathology in relation to massage therapy. Miki comes from a Chiropractor/ART (active release technique) clinic advancing her knowledge in Sports massage and therapeutic exercises. Miki took a course for Infant massage in 2008, becoming better rounded for helping parents by teaching them how to massage their child.

Miki is newly married to her husband Sean, spending their time together exercising and playing with their two energetic dogs; Bronx and Goliath. Miki also stays active by kickboxing, riding bicycles, lifting weights, and skiing, but her main interest lies in swimming; she previously was a competitive swimmer throughout her teenage years belonging to N.C.S.A. and the Y.M.C.A. excelling at backstroke. By doing the various activities Miki is interested in, she understands where and how some common sports injury's and pain can come from.
