The universal connection of food with people, culture and health has always intrigued Susan.  Her appreciation for food has originated from her keen interest for cooking and traveling.  However, her fascination for nutrition and its effects on health has been fostered from her studies at the University of Alberta, where she has completed her Masters of Science in Nutrition, and also from her internship with the Regional Capital Health Dietetic Internship Program. Since then, Susan has worked in hospital and clinic settings, where she has provided nutrition counselling for various chronic diseases, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, kidney disease and weight management.  In her work, Susan always feels privileged when she gets to be part of the process of helping her clients make healthier lifestyle choices to enhance their health and well-being.  In her spare time, Susan enjoys playing tag with her two young children, listening to music, or trying out new recipes with her family and friends.
